This slip dress celebrates our love for eco-printing. It features delicate imprints of fresh marigold petals or “genda ka phool".Perfect for summer days, the dress is made from a fine 100 count cotton that sits softly against the skin.
Through collaborative efforts and skill-building sessions at Nila, four women from the non-profit PANS were trained to do the eco-printing. They have printed on the fabric using fresh, locally sourced marigolds that are found in abundance across India.
The Marigold Slip Dress is inspired by the classic, minimal form of the Slip Top from the Nila x Anna Valentine collection. The fabric has been woven on looms in West Bengal and stitched in Jaipur.
